Spinnerbaits, crankbaits ( rapala yellow ) lizards, 3/4 oz rattletraps, scrougers

The fishing continues to improve with numbers holding high, some boats catching up to 150 a day and we are seeing an increasing number of 8 to 10 ½ lb. bass. The big bass are coming off of ¾ oz spinner baits and 16 foot running Rapala crank baits. The boats catching the highest numbers have experienced great topwater but mostly catching the bass in the back of the coves on watermelon lizards.

up to 150 fish per day with our groups finding fish up to 10lbs…cranking the rapla working the best along with 3/4 rattletraps……some topwater early using Rico popper

Doug Fisk and Shad Goldston are piling up the numbers this weekend at Lake Baccarac with 150 to 200 bass being caught per day, with fish up up 8 pounds being landed. It’s only going to get better!

Huge volume of fish being caught right now, with boats catching between 100 and 150 fish, big fish in the 7 lb. range for this week. The best bite is between 12 and 16 feet, using scrounger jig heads and soft plastics. ¾ oz. rattletraps on top of points and around the brush are working well as well. We should start seeing the big Lake Baccarac trophies in the next seven to ten days.

ok numbers but not many big fish the last 2 days on the water. The lake will be slow until we get another weather change
