Family wars are back with father/son duo Yovanni and Sixto guiding the Schoonover Brothers this week for their yearly battle! Sixto is out for redemption this year and has the lead going into the final day with a pair of bigs from Brian on xd8 cranks
Enough said! Cranks and plastics in the trees this week that just got better as the weather got hotter 
There were plenty of monsters to go around with 4 over 10 in the Gutierrez group and, well, another giant 12-15 on the resume for Alex

Big bass are on Jigs! Secondary bite on cranks and spinnerbait Alex once again on giants with big 10-15
Poncho and Lynn absolutely smashed it this week with a 50+lb bag, an 11+ kicker, and over 1000 fish landed chartreuse blue cranks were their best bait by far!
Yovanni doing what he’s been doing all season long – he got on a pretty good spinnerbait bite in standing timber related to drops

If you can believe it, a cold front has slowed the bite significantly the last few days with high afternoon winds and white caps making things a bit difficult. We’re still on em with cranks, jigs, and spinnerbaits with fish sitting in the 9lb range. The weather will break and we’ll see giants again shortly!

The Sixto machine keeps on rolling! Sixto is reporting lots of 8+ fish on deep cranks to start the week. No doubt he’ll have more DD’s in the boat in short order
