The fish are always biting Baccarac! As the fish are in all stages of spawn, the bite is taking places at many different depths. Hot baits this week have been topwater in the mornings (poppers, big spooks) and swimbaits in the afternoons. Alabama rigs, underspins, storm and Burrito baits have produced well. 50 – 80 fish per day has been the norm this week, down from last weeks crazy numbers. We are seeing a ton of fish in the 4-9lb range and almost every fish is quality. There’s never a bad time to visit us at Lake Baccarac Lodge

Another full house today at Lake Baccarac Lodge and the fish are biting!
Topwater in the morning has been great for big fish on both poppers and walking baits in chrome and white colors.
In the afternoons swimbaits have been the ticket with storm, burrito and Alabama rigs in shad and white colors taking the biggest fish. We are seeing multiple fish on the the same cast with Alabama rigs and many, many happy faces!

Super client Cj with super guide Narlin just wrecking the fish this week! Cj smashed his personal best with this 10lb 11oz pig on the burrito bait co baccaburrito.
At one point he had 3 rods rigged with crankbaits. He would catch a fish, and while Narlin was getting the fish out of the net, he would catch another. Fish are stacked up on points and feeding heavily.
Everyone at the Lodge is putting a hurting on these bass this week with the big fish being plentiful. Every meal has been filled with stories of giants lost and giants landed. THE LAKE IS HOT! Guys are getting big fish on Swimbaits, cranks, topwater, alabama rigs, underspins, jigs, plastics, you name it.

The fish are schooling up in 12-20ft right now.
The days are hot, but so is the fishing! When you find a spot with fish, you keep casting because fishing are stacked in numbers. Tommy and Lindsee are putting in work with there best day being 130 fish with good numbers of 6-9lb fish. Hot baits are strike king XD 8 and 10 and storm wildeye swimbaits
